Review blog

Hey everyone, we finally finished editing. This was a very long journey, but we made it close to the end. My groupmate and I have worked really heard these last two weeks to crunch the time we lost but now we are here. To start off the film starts off with the establishing scene. In film, an establishing shot establishes the context for a scene by demonstrating the relationship between its key figures and objects. It is usually a long or extremely long shot at the start of a scene that indicates where, and sometimes when, the rest of the scene takes place. Next scene is a medium shot Character details, location, and scale are all captured in a single frame. These shots can provide context for characters by placing them within the context of the film. Improving body language. These shots show enough of a character's body to show gestures while remaining close enough to reveal subtle movements. Transitioning to other shots is done smoothly. Medium shots are frequently used between wide and close-up shots, which helps to soften the transition. Characters interacting with their surroundings and props. Because medium shots show locations and props, viewers can see characters interacting with the environment around them. Next, we had a lot of reverse shots a shot that looks at the action from the opposite side of the previous shot, as in a conversation between two actors, creating the illusion of looking from one actor to the other. A wide shot is one that shows the entire object or human figure and is intended to place it in relation to its surroundings. The tracking shot is intended to follow someone or something as they move through the scene. We also added text to show what we were representing like justice showing that we need justice, or we are finding justice for the person who got shot. Overall, during this editing, we were pitching ideas and putting it on the film and looking at it to see if our pitch transitioned to the film. Luckily it did for the first couple tries. My group and I did a lot for editing hopefully we showed our hard work on the film. I showed my mother the video she was really surprised on how the video turned out she said it was very unexpected when I got shot.
