Creative Critical Reflection 1.       How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? TO be honest my product doesn't really represent any social groups because in sports in my opinion sports doesn't really correlate to social groups and issues even though a lot of people put pressure on athletes to talk about and discuss their side to views I still think sports is its own thing it entertainment. 2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text? My product engages with the soccer, football  athletes that uses cleats, With the Odell   beckham  jr cleats the media would automatically  help promote this commercial because obj is a very talked about athlete so it'll  be very easy to get the commercial big and going selling it to people for the simple fact that he's Odell a lot of young obj supporters would buy this product to be honest I  bought these cleats beca

Commercial

Hello everyone I finally finished my first commercial. It wasn't what I expected it to be. I learned somethings about myself doing the commercial. I expected filming to be a exact representation of what I had in my mind, but in my luck it wasn't expectation vs reality really plays a big role in filming I learned that about filming. I also learned that out of all of the categories in filming I think I'm a better editor then anything to be honest. The flaming passion when i was editing have these different ideas was very astonishing to me when I look back, I literally created a chart of ideas because I had too much and I didn't know which one was better to I made a compression chart to help me decide. Overall my favorite part was editing my second was probably drawing my story board and lastly was actually filming. I think I liked filming the least was because i was by my self even though I work better when I'm by myself I still think I would've had more fun with

Editing

Hello everyone I just finished editing and I have so much to talk about first off i want to talk about how easy it really was to navigate through iMovie. It was so easy to import my audio that I for sure wanted all it took was just a few clicks. Also adding sound effects was also easy because they had their own set choices and it was also easy to import your own by just downloading whichever effect you wanted off the internet. The sound effect I used was the slow heart beat it really meshed well with the theme of commercial because the doubt the crowd was giving me as a actor and showing that I was very calm despite the massive hate i was getting from the crowd booing and the voice over doubt my skills with the cleats. The music in the background really fit the theme also signifying that the shoes/me is a icon also the beat of the music really gave that intense feel to the change in graphic tone really meshed with the music also changing the display to all grey really makes the intensi

Editing

hello today what have I tried to do was look over my clips a bit more. I was trying to cut down the unnecessary parts of the clips to get a more crispy look. For right now my first step hasn't been anything special I just wanted to remove a little bit of time in my clips to fit the 30 second mark. In all honestly since this is a Nike commercial I don't think I can get exactly 30 seconds I believe my final product would probably be over 30 seconds because the type of Nike commercial I choose to film was about proving people wrong and those commercial Nike does most of the time would be over 30 second. But with the limited WIFI I had today in school I only made a few editing moves. The app I'm using is iMovie my teacher recommend iMovie. For today I haven't used it to much but my time using it was pretty easy how the navigation in the app works how smooth you can upload the video and start right away. Also how many options there are you wouldn't except you can edit o

filming

Hello on this day of filming I didn't go out to film. Instead of filming I actually looked over my my clips of my different film to check if I really needed to do a couple retakes. While looking at my clips of my film I actually looked at a couple other Nike commercials that had the similar approach. The commercials I looked at I payed close attention to the editing because i wanted to get a head start of the editing ideas. I also payed close attention to the intensity I was comparing the key details of the official Nike commercial to my clips. I was kind of checking off boxes basically like the way the certain movements were, the natural graphics. On that aspect I got it right the great angle of the sun even though I had no control over the sun I just caught the sun at a good time where the sunlight perfectly hit the grass and made the grass look very good. The level of intensity I put in the clips were very high leveled in my opinion. Also while looking over my clips I was tryin
