Editing

Hello everyone I just finished editing and I have so much to talk about first off i want to talk about how easy it really was to navigate through iMovie. It was so easy to import my audio that I for sure wanted all it took was just a few clicks. Also adding sound effects was also easy because they had their own set choices and it was also easy to import your own by just downloading whichever effect you wanted off the internet. The sound effect I used was the slow heart beat it really meshed well with the theme of commercial because the doubt the crowd was giving me as a actor and showing that I was very calm despite the massive hate i was getting from the crowd booing and the voice over doubt my skills with the cleats. The music in the background really fit the theme also signifying that the shoes/me is a icon also the beat of the music really gave that intense feel to the change in graphic tone really meshed with the music also changing the display to all grey really makes the intensity of music and the film match together which is really great. The detailed placement of my effects really matched with the whole film I feel like my edits didn't feel out of place; I feel like everything meshed in as it was supposed to. Today I felt like I wasn't really short on resources. I felt like I was giving a amazing idea for the app and from there I just ran with it. The amount of imagination I had today was unlimited. Every time I edited I had another idea right after that. I had to take notes of my ideas and compare my editing ideas. My first notes was the emotion the different types of music gave me. I thought to myself which one sound made more sense with the theme to my commercial, even though it was a Nike commercial, my type of commercial was about proving my doubters wrong. So i picked what best fit which was icon the song correctly represented what I was going for. My second notes was  this was between the display of it either leaving it as a dynamic display or actually changing the display to grey to boost and focus in on the actor's ended up picking grey display because it really boosted the looks of item third choice in my notes was the jump cuts. It was honestly not that hard of a choice i just research a little bit of Nike's cuts and i used the similar one i had access to. for sound effects i was pretty set and stone for that i didn't have any better ideas then what i originally had from the beginning. For my voice over i also already knew what i was going to record because i already thought of it in the beginning also. Overall editing was very fun and exciting i had many ideas and thoughts that i had to narrow down because i was so excited to edit. Thank you for your time.
